Gasthaus Zum Becher in Stuttgart

The highlight was the Zweibel Rostbraten. Larger than what you get at most restaurants and close to 5 cm. thick. That allowed for a chance to get it done rare. The kitchen sent it out truly rare as an American would want. The spaetzle is home made and delicious. The salad was fresh with a great home made potato salad.

Authentic Swabian restaurant with good cuisine and excellent service! The building (front) is architecturally worth seeing - be sure to look up.

Quaint, Swabian restaurant with very delicious authentic food. The menu is not too big what does that mean everything is freshly prepared and it tastes like it was prepared by nuts! Service is very nice and attentive and special requests are gladly fulfilled (only spaetzle with sauce plus sausages and children's cutlery for the youngest.) There is an adjoining room for private celebrations. The meals can also be ordered in advance by telephone for collection ... unfortunately no delivery service. Absolutely thumbs up and you should have been there! 👍🏼

A tip from friends led us to the somewhat hidden restaurant behind the Staatsgalerie (probably still an insider tip). Often drove by but never noticed ... now we have returned. Conclusion: Wonderful restaurant with a great garden (probably with one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Stuttgart - small but a place to relax in the middle of the city with lots of plants, a nice little fountain and in the evening with a pleasant lighting concept) very good and down-to-earth Swabian food (There are also beer garden burgers) and excellent, courteous and non-intrusive service. Everything is just right here (price / performance). We will now stop here several times ;-)

This restaurant has been on my try-out list for a long time. Last week I finally made it and it won't be the last time. Friendly service, cozy courtyard, very relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. We had the daily recommendation Wiener Schnitzel from veal with fried potatoes and potato salad. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Thank you and see you soon.

Beer garden as well as inside it is simply beautiful and atmospheric. The service is a dream, seldom left so much tips;) The food was amazing, from the sauerbraten to the (veggie) burger. Mega yummy! We'll be back for sure! ♥ ️🍔😍

A great buzz to the ambiance no waiting around for food, precisely what we necessary for our dinner night out. Great choices for a special occasion, plenty of options on the menu and everything tasted of the greatest quality. I came here for dinner with my brother, we had been really pleased with the modern food and the costs. Great personnel, often treat us like family not just a customer. I came here with my sis and both of us thought the food was exceptional and the personnel were superb.

It is by far the best German Restaurant I've been too. 5 Stars to the food the beautiful place and the lovely Staff. 👌

Very good long-established Swabian restaurant. Food and wine good and at reasonable prices. After my first visit with friends I can only recommend it. Like to go back in the new year.

Wonderful, cosy but elegant restaurant. Very hospitable. Great service. Head waiter speaks fluent English. Very reasonably priced. Small menu but excellent quality. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had special treatment like a nice candle and crystal love heart on our table. Nice touches.

One of the best Swabian restaurants in Stuttgart

Very good food, very friendly staff. Great price-performance ratio! However, you should be patient if you have not made a reservation. Luckily we did that and were all satisfied, even if we had annoyed the staff several times, but they had the calm away. Will go there again, just great and quaint - the beautiful garden terrace is particularly recommended in summer, a small green oasis in the middle of the city.

So, so yummy. The goat cheese an olive butter starter was lovely. Good specials and wine.

Stumbled into this gem while exploring Berlin. Amazing little find with a fantastic brunch. There are slips of menus where you can customize your order and bring it up to the counter. Loved the cozy atmosphere complete with an awesome soundtrack (indie-rock leaning). I would totally be a regular here if I lived in Berlin!

Nice place. The staff is very helpful and polite, and the food is pretty good value. I can recommend the Schnitzel. I don't know if they speak English. Like many food places in Germany, they don't like credit cards, but they do have the option, which I was very thankful for! If you come on a Friday night you need to book in advance, as I think it's quite popular for locals.
